Basic Requirements
At least 16 years old
No prior felony convictions
Valid Drivers License
No prior experience or training is necessary
Completion of basic orientation
Attend weekly training sessions

The Catlettsburg Fire Department provides 24 hour, seven days a
week, fire protection for the City of Catlettsburg. We are a
combination department with 4 full time and 2 part time firefighters
that are currently employed. However most of our protection is
provided by the volunteer members. Our volunteer firefighters
provide and volunteer many hours to our community. Our
firefighters are highly trained, capable, and equipped with modern
firefighting equipment, as well as being a great group of
individuals. If you are interested in serving your community, come
